Our Tenant Of Faith

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, in the verbal inspiration of the Holy Scriptures.

 

We believe that all Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness.

 

We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Ghost, and was born of the virgin Mary, and is truly God and Man.

 

We believe that prophecies came in old times, not by the will of men, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

 

We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but spiritual death also, which is separation from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature.

 

We believe that all who receive the Lord Jesus by faith are born again of the Holy Ghost and thereby become children of God.

 

We believe that Christ was resurrected and ascended into heaven, and now sits at His Father’s right hand interceding for us.

 

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting felicity of the saved and the everlasting conscious sufferings of the lost.
